Sony Ericsson W580i

Don’t you think this phone has that stylish look to it, because I do. I am admiring the look of this product, the sliding function especially appeals to me. Fortunately this phone doesn’t cost the earth, unlike so many other good phones. As with most Sony-Ericsson’s you can leave it laying around without worrying about the battery life. Why not talk for longer with 9 hours calltime on a single charge, I know I could talk this long in a single day. And now you can call home from the USA with this quad-band phone, which works all over the globe.

The W580i is very thin and light being only 94 grams, less than the weight of 3 bags of walkers crisps, how light is that? This small size however doesn’t compromise on functionality with a solid 2 mega pixel camera, and a top mp3 player application. The music can either be store on an external memory card if you have alot and also on the phones internal memory of 12mb.

The internet on this phone is very accessible and fast, with the ability to check your email swiftly and reliably. Other connectivity includes bluetooth and usb for easy files swapping with your pc or MAC.

The Sony Ericsson W580i is the phone for anyone who wants a reliable and reasonably priced phone, from the office to the gym this model really does everything I want and more.

Sony Ericsson K850i Review

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

Hello, this is my first review of this site and I’ve tried to make it easy for myself by picking a phone I am very familiar with and like very much, the Sony Ericsson K850i.

This phone is the traditional candy-bar shape which pretty much all Sony Ericsson’s are. One of the features which impressed me very much about this phone was the screen resolution being of an awesome 240 by 320 pixels. Which makes looking at 5 mega pixel photos taken by the K850i’s camera extremely pleasurable. This Sony Ericsson has a very long standby time, official up to 350 hours which is a worth while if you don’t always remember to charge your phone.

This mobile has 3G connectivity which means very fast Internet browsing capabilities and for the perfect world traveller, this mobile phone has quad band which means it can be used all most anywhere in the world.

Aswell as the high resolution camera this phone has quite a big internal memory of 40mb and a memory stick micro slot for up to 8gb of memory from a card. This is an ideal feature for music lovers, who will also enjoy the high quality FM radio in built into the device.

Sony Ericsson W850i Review

Sony Ericsson W850i

Review-

I look at the Sony Ericsson W850i and straight away I like it. I remember being excited the very first time I knew that it was my job to review it. I knew with it being a Sony Ericsson, it was going to have those basic things other phones lack, such as the quality, the design and the ease of use. Things so simple, yet things other phones seem to get wrong time and time again.

The Sony Ericsson W850i brings out many improved features from their previous phone. If you, like me are a huge
fan of music, you are going to love the new improved Walkman with a whole host of new features just for it, such as the ability to purchase music legally through the online shop. And something that technologically stuns me that if you hear a tune you like the Sony Ericsson will track down the name and artist of that song for you.

If that wasn’t enough the Sony Ericsson W850i also comes with an inbuilt 2 megapixel camera with the ability of zooming in 4x for those perfect pictures and videos of friends and families and other things you may choose to use your mobile phone for. With a second camera on the front perfect to make and receive video calls.

Additional features include web access, emails, the ability of RSS, a host of the latest games available for phones and also the things you expect to find on today’s mobile phones like bluetooth and infrared and some neat calendar software which you can synchronize with your PC or laptop

Summary of the Sony Ericsson W850i : A mobile for the music lovers amongst us. If you are wanting to save some money and maybe looking to combine your portable music player into your mobile phone, this mobile is one you should be taking a very hard look at. Having said that, being a predominantly music phone it certainly does not jeapodise the other features that this phone hs. The look speaks for itself, it shows style.
